Important notice Do NOT use the PRO - KING trans filter FK324 from Advance Auto Parts - unless you have a deep draft pan. It will not fit the standard pan. Ask for PRO - KING filter FK252.
I installed the FK324 & thought it funny that the gasket was already on the neck of the filter. Went to bolt up the pan and it wasn't even close. The FK324 has a longer neck, must be for truck applications with deep pan???
The manager at the local Advance was good enough to drive out here to the boondocks and bring 2 filters with him. (the numbers above). Evidently the listing is wrong for our cars, and he had the good sense to bring a filter listed for earlier model 4l60e's. Not many places would have done that! Anyway the FK252 is on and all is well.
