My stall stalled the car

Was doing about 30 and upon deceleration the revs dropped past 500 to 0 when I stopped for a red light. Had to put the car in P to start her up again. What could have caused this? This is the first time that this has happened and my fluid is fine, checked it when I got back home.

sometimes when u have a convo it will die at a stop, just start it back up and dont worry about it

Really? Kinda freaked me out for a moment since this is the first time it happened. Gotta pay attention when I'm at red lights now.

If it keeps doing this I'd get it checked out. If it was a one time thing.....woudn't worry about it.

For me idle stays at 500, sometimes goes to 400 then 500. Fluctuates between 400-500 at times but that is all. And you can hear it, sounds like a very small cam.

yeah mine does that to with the 400-500 I tell people its cammed lol, ever sense the TC and Tune it does it now Hasn't died yet though

I had my tranny tuned when I had the converter installed as well. Just surprised me that the car stalled. That's what a TC is supposed to stop from happening.
