How do you pull the pump from a 4l60e?

Take the pan off to get access to the tcc solinoid and forward accumulator feed line and remove them from the pump. Remove the pump bolts.

Then you can either buy a pump puller, or put a bearing puller around the stator and pull it, or take a big prying device like a screw driver and pry on the inside rest it on the valve body and push up on the pump body not the gasket surface.

easiest way is to remove pan, remove tcc solinoid the 2 10mm bolts just twist back and forth while pulling up, take out 13mm pump bolts, also don't forget to take out oring on input shaft. now take a pry bar and pop the pump loose.

Thanks guys. Once I realized what was really the pump and what was the case, a big screwdriver popped it easily. Sometimes you just need a little break to see clearly.
