Huge problem after SS4000 and 3.73 install
Alright, the local performance shop installed my Yank SS4000 and 3.73's, and I was supposed to get the car back today. Well the guy called me and said that we was making some test runs in the car, and he had driven it for about 10 miles, and when he went to park the car, he said that it all of a sudden quit pulling in drive, reverse, first, second, and third. he said it just acts like it's in neutral when he gives it gas, nothing is turning. He said no fluid is leaking and the fluid levels are just fine. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be, becuase he's not even sure what the problem is. Help?

I had a similar problem except right after I installed the converter the car didnt move. It turned out being the transmission pump. Im pretty sure my transmission pump got messed up by not seating the converter right. Also my transmission fluid wasnt getting hot.

I've had 2 pumps go out and that is exactly what the result was. Could be a case of not seating the converter all the way which will put pressure on the pump and break it. That would be my guess of what happened. Good news is a pump only costs about 65 dollars to replace.
