Driveability difference between a 2700 stall and a 5300 stall?
This is for all the guys that are afraid of a big stall.
I had an 8" 5300 stall in my bolt on only SS. Took out the stall to get it redone to a 4600. Meanwhile since this is my daily a friend let me borrow his 9.5" Vigalante. it stalled up to about 2700 on the brake. Well it drives around not much different from my 5300. When leaving a light the 5300 is at about 2500 where as the 2700 is at about 2000. other than that driving around town is almost the same. the 2700 did spin the tires once when i left a stop sign and went through a puddle.
Of course when i punch its a completely different story.
But driving the car wasn't that bad. My wife, who's normal car is our minivan, drove the car occasionally and didn't anything of it. Her only gripe was the noise.
