I just had a SS3600 Yank torque converter put in my 2001 Trans am and I love it. The car doesn't drive that different, just needs a little bit more throttle when starting from stop. I will stand by my Yank converter. They make a great product and I am very pleased with how the car feels after install.

So anything from a 3000 stall and up is good. Thanks I already have a big trans cooler, headers, freemods, and a CAI. My buddies say im crazy going to a mere 3000 stall, they think I'll kill the trans. Thanks for the info.
