Does anyone know if any companies make an SFI approved flexplate for the ls1? Installing my new converter and would like to replace the factory flexplate. Installing H/C package and TNT wet kit soon and don't want any probs with the stock flexplate.

Checking a few aftermarkets, I have yet to find one or anyone planning to make one available soon. Looks like we'll all have to wait. AFAIK the 98 flexplates are supposed to be better then the 2000+ units if you have to replace one.
Yeah, I would suggest a 2000+ A4 replace they're flexplate with a 98-99 model on a converter install. The newer ones have proven to be weak.
