agreed
I couldn't be more happier with my Fuddle

I *sometimes* wish i went with a higher STR (i went with 3600 on 1.8 STR) but then I remember how I can't get any traction as is, anyway..

but anyhow

Fuddle rules, and Fuddle's customer service is definitely top notch

i'll just say when ever i ordered my yank converter i was very pleased with the customer service.... needless to say because they didnt have the right materials to make the converter i wanted then gave me a more expensive one for the lower ones price...

i like yank and im sure fuddle is a good company too.

i will try fuddle some other time

John is a great guy to deal with and will be in businees a long time if he keeps up the good work. One thing though. His last name is not Fuddle.

Fuddle uses Torque Converter Company in Utah to
build the product. TCC was started in 1991 by some
transmission guys in Salt Lake City, who were
already old-timers at that point. So while Fuddle
may be fairly new, the back operation isn't.

I've got a 3200/1.7 from Fuddle, it's awesome. Haven't tracked it yet but I'm looking to drop over a second between that and my Maggie.

well i just got my Fuddle TC today, i have to say i emailed John about 10 times and everytime he freely gave his professional opinion. I told him that i work late hours, but needed to order a stall ASAP b/c my car was sitting dead and he gave me his cell number to call him when i got off work no matter what the time. Now i dont know about Yank, so i cant say, but tell me honestly, can you name one company that would do that, Hell he even gave me Melissa's number and said that if he didnt snawer she would. WOW thats all i have to say. I ordered the converter on Thursday at almost 10pm my time (FLORIDA) and he said that he would call it in and have it done on friday and try his best to ship it that same day. Well due to the hurricane is was sihpped late, but i still got it WAY before i was expecting.......JONH YOUR THE MAN!! THANKS.

As for Yank i did call them wantign info on what converter was right for me and called 3 times and never got a reply. Dont know why, guess big companies are busy??

i ordered my stall from fuddel the 22 and got it the 31 of august. i got it installed yesterday and could not be happier, i got a 3500 stall with a 2.0 str.i lnow get know traction but that just gives me an excuse to buy tires.i found the converter to be very streetable with the high stall.i tried launching by flashing and by stalling and i like the way it feels being flashed. am sure if i practice i can find the right point to stall it for a good launch. i agree for the price this is a great product and johns customer service was great.

Thats the one I run. My best 60' to date is 1.71s so with your setup expect 1.6X easy. Its a great efficient converter and for the money, you would be mad to go anywhere else.

Mine just arrived yesterday 3400stall/2.1 str
http://nick.vettextc.net/FuddleConve...eConverter.jpg
It's not purple or red but from what I've heard it's just as good if not better.
Can't wait to get it installed and get some new times from the strip.
While I have no experience with Yank myself I have heard from friends and aquaintences who have had thier fair share of problems with thier customer service. I've had Precision's converters before and they have top notch customer service. Of course that is only one aspect, reliability and performance are just as important if not more. John seems to have this all covered so far.
Thanks for the great background info Jimmy Blue !!

How does it compare to a Yank? I had a Vigilante 3600-3800 and liked that, but it got burned out when my trans was messed up. Then got a YankSS4000 with my FLP rebuild. Those converters were with a 224/224 cam. I now have a TCi 3800 in my th400 trans and a G5x4 cam and I need something way larger. I am thinking atleast a 4400. Can Fuddle build a converter of that stall with a LS1 bolt pattern for a TH400 trans? I know that TCi and probably Yank have adapters, but I dont want that extra weight.

I also have a Fuddle 3400/2.1 and I love it. Here is what I posted about their cust svc when I bought mine.
I recently ordered a Fuddle 3400/2.1str converter. They told me it would be like 7-10 days to ship it so I said ok. I sent them a paypal to cover the price of the converter and shipping. At this point I must add that they give it to me at the sale price that had expired about a month earlier. I give them a call and told them to ship it to my work address instead of my home b/c there wouldn't be anyone home to sign for it. They said no problem and shipped it out the following Monday. Fed ex sent me a e-mail with the tracking number and the scheduled delivery day. This is when the problems started. It sit in Utah for 12 days b/f it even moved. When it got here the box was busted open (both it was in two) and it had been very wet. I took the converter out of the box and when I turned it over dirt and pieces of the box come out of it. I was HOT to say the least. I PM'ed Fuddle and told them what had happened. They put in a claim within 5 min's of the PM. They told me how sorry they were that this had happened at least 10 times on the phone and told me they would get me one out next day air that afternoon. By this time it was like 3:00 pm. I told them I was in no rush so just get it out when they could. Three days later I got my new converter in and once again the boxes were busted open this time at the mounting ear. I give him a pm and asked about the fact that it rattled some when you shake it. Four other mechanics told me this is normal and withind 20 mins I had a PM back from him confirming that it was normal. I an going to get it installed Wed or Thur. next week and I'll let you all know the results.
I would just like to thank Fuddle Racing for making something that could have been a very long drawn out process and solving it quickly and professionally. I do NOT believe any of this was their fault. (except using fed ex only my opinion). I would have to say that they have some of the best cust service that I have ever dealt with. I would def. recommend them to any one else looking for a new converter. Best priced and great cust. service are two things that don't usually go hand in hand together but this time it did.

Here is the link to their site. If this is wrong to do this then let me know and I'll remove the link. http://www.fuddleracing.com/
