Default 4L60E Questions

I've read all the posts both here and on LS1.com and I from what I've read there is no way that my 4L60E, even if it's rebuilt as strong as it can be built, can hold up under 800-850ft/lb of torque for very long.

What I'm wondering is, is there ANYONE who's done this sucessfully? If so, who built it and what did they do to it?

Thanks,
Chris

With those type of torque numbers you are in the TH400 range if you want any kind of reliability.

You would be lucky to hold 600 for any period of time other than not long

I would have to agree with the above statement for longevity, you might consider my new 400 with a lock-up converter and transbrake for strength and mph.I just built one for a C5R 427 with a 350 shot of nitrous that should make around 900h/p.I'll keep you all posted when the car is done with some results.
