It’s not just the ‘verter. Like Raughammer said, tires, tires, tires. You NEED better tires to take advantage of any ‘verter. An ST3500 will basically perform like crap ET wise too if you try and run one on stock tires unless you’ve got a track that’s prepped with crazy glue.
You’ll need at least DRs to get the full advantage of an ST3500 or vig3200. ET Streets would be even better
Don’t go and buy this ‘verter and expect low 12s on stock type tires. You’ll be very disappointed if you do.

Me and my buddy with the SS are going to order a set of ET drags with Weld draglites.
With the 150 wet shot, VIG 3200, lid, exhaust, what do you guys think i could see?
spraying out of the whole or at the top of 2nd?
what if i added SLP LT headers in the future?

my car bone stock went a 13.40 @ 102 with a 40 degree weather, in the summer it used to run 13.70's in verrrryyyyyyyyy hot weather(remember im in MS) with a 101 trap speed. It may sound bad but you should also keep in mind that it has a 300 pound driver .... but it gets better ...... I prefer an auto for racing but I DO NOT prefer a 4l60e for it and I enjoy a 6 speed ...... I just wish I had 1

I've been very happy with my 4L60E... you can have a 6spd.

Well, get some ET Streets and see what that does for your 60' times. I'm cutting high 1.8s on F1s and the stock converter, there is lots of room for improvement for your short times.

Just a quick note: Once you have a converter, if you dont dead hook(no spinning) your trans will either short shift or bang the rev limiter. You gotta have max traction and once you do, the et will plumment. Leave it in D and never try to manually shift.
Get a set of tires and a quality converter, and let us know how it goes. The wrong converter can SAP power pretty bad. I lost 34 RWHP from a converter swap on my T/A, and I also lost over 3 MPH from it. It robbed me of power and slowed the car down a LOT at the track. Are your dyno #'s with the stock converter or your TCI? It will be a whole different game once the TCI is out of the car.
A stock LS1 with an A4, stock trans, stock tires, should be able to do a 1.99 60', don't you think? he's losing ALOT in that 1st 60', at least 2-3 10ths right there....
