Default Running a NON-lockup transmission on a 700R4?

A friend of mine has a B&M holeshot converter for a 700R4 that is NON lockup. I'm not familiar with running a non-lockup in place of a lockup. What do you have to do with the tranny to make it accept the converter?

I'm kinda in the reverse situation. I have a lockup setup but I talked to a few people and I don't think I'm gonna run it. I'm simply not wiring up the lockup solenoid. In your situation, I suppose you would just unplug the lockup connector on the driver side.

You need to replace the tcc valve in the pump with an aftermarket non lock up valve.
