Default Another Fuddle Review!!!

i got my fuddle 4000 2.4 this past week and with the help of some friends, it was installed on sunday...the converter is a bit loose for daily driving (imo), i'm usually having to drive around at 3-3200 rpm's to get it moving decently...but once you mash the pedal all hell breaks loose!! shift extension is at about 5k and my gas gauge seems to be my only enemy as of now overall i'm very happy with my converter, i'll be at the track this friday, my only mods are mac-midlenths w/ 3" y-pipe and dynomax bullet, a lid, and of course the converter so i'll be posting up results this weekend...just wanna say thanks to john for such a great product and it is definitely worth it

Mine felt a little loose when I first put it in but after a couple hundred miles (3 months man I need to drive my car more) it feels better. I guess I got used to it.

What kind of gears are you running? 3000-3200 to move decently? Damn that is loose.

That's because of your 4.10s. If he's running a 2.73 gear, it will take quite a few rpms to get moving.

3.42 gears and a 4000 stall here in a 3600+ lbs car idling at ~750 RPM and I can let off the brake and the car will creep forward on flat ground. I can get the car moving around 2000 RPM and keep up with traffic. Maybe 3000-3200 RPM and he's talking about walking away from traffic, which would be about right for a 4000 stall.

They are a torque converter company with excellent cust svc and low prices. They are kinda new but I never heard anyone complain about them. I LOVE mine.

i have 3.23s...when i let off the brake at a stoplight the car wont move, to make the car move a bit on the slow side i'm at about 2500-2700 rpms and to get it moving good i have to be a bit over 3000 rpms...either way, i'm still happy

3.73s should tighten her up, can probably start moving at around 1800-2000.

I got my 4k 2.4 yesterday...so happy. Now I hope to swap both, my new one in, and my old one (2months old) into my buddies car sat morning. Two lifts, 2 experienced swappers and 2 new swappers, we'll see how it goes. Although not sure if I can drive my car since a tree limb fell on it yesterday also and smashed my windshield. Hope this 4k likes the juice as much as my car does Will report back after its maiden run.
