Default Vigilante 2600 vs. Pro Torque 2400

Does anyone have experience with these two converters? Which one would give the best performance from a stand still and from a roll? Which one has the best driveability(not Loose). I know that converters with higher stall speeds will give better performance but I don't want a converter that is loose. My car is 98 vette with 3.42 gears.

Mitch: ANY 2400 stall converter is a waste of money with an LS1, go with at least a 2800.
