A4 rebuild questions

NEWBIE NEEDS A4 advice I am very close to buying a 99 Z with A4 and it is slipping at wot in 3rd and 4th gears...I'm guessing it's rebuild time...
How much should I expect to pay for a rebuild?
Just trying to get an idea of what I'm going to be laying out cash-wise...
Also, if anyone has any recommendations on where to take it in the Baltimore area, please share...I have no idea...I've been a Mustang guy for the last 12 years...

Yeah, these trannies are notorious for the 3rd and 4th quitting... How much a rebuild will cost depends on the parts you want to use. If you plan on putting some power on this car, put good parts back in the transmission. Search the automatic section, that should help you out.
