Default Preformance transmission button

I just got a 94 firebird formula. I was just wondering what the preformance transmission button does.

My best guess it that it might raise the trans line pressure and possibly the shift points a little.

I have never heard of that. I'll be interested to see what that button is all about. The only button I have is TCS.

Yea, I had it on my '95 TA and it raises the line pressure. I used it for a while until I got my Shift kit and then I didn't use it anymore because I didn't wanna put too much pressure on anything. I did notice a little difference when it was turned on, mad the shifts a little firmer and snappier.
