i have a 95 formula. i have a little button (transmisson perfrom) this is a new car and i would like to know what this button dose...........thanx

It selects a different group of transmission shift
settings, and makes us LS1 F-body guys jealous.

It is my understanding that it raises fluid pressure to make for firmer shifts. When I had a HPP+, I could use it on my 97 (the button was removed for my year) and it did shift firmer and faster, with little slip. But most of the time, I disabled it because it was a bit abrupt for normal driving.

It was safe; it was factory programmed.
Raises the part throttle shift points a bit and decreases the shift lag time.
