Tilting the 4L60E to remove servo
Can I lower (tilt) the transmission with the drive shaft connected? I want to remove the servo from the side of the transmission & will have to lower the transmission to do so. Can I remove the tranny mount & tilt it down safely with the drive shaft connected or will this damage the rear housing seal? It needs to tilt down about 5 or 6". Thank-you

hellbents10,
Thanks for the input. Only had about 1.75" before hitting the side of the tunnel. I went ahead & tilted the transmission low enough to wriggle the servo's & then the shaft out. Doesn't seem like there was any damage to the rear seal.
Wish I had known that the blue spring wasn't used when changing the intermediate servo with the 4th gear servo. I struggled with that spring for an hour before calling the manufacturer of the kit & finding out it's not used with that combination. Anyway, it's done.
Thanks again for responding.
