Pros and Cons of Vig and Yank
Damn Roughrammer.. how much Yank stock do you own??!

I like that one.
I've seen both cut open and Yank does use better materials, especially the clutches.
I like the Yank's for the street better, more choices to match your needs and generally better power from a roll. The vigs hang pretty well at the track so from a budget racer standpoint I could see the attraction, although the ST4000 is now presents a very affordable alternative to the YTP 4400.
I have a '98 with a ST3500. It drives superbly! I'm in Houston. You're welcome to drive it any time.

Does that mean that the PY converters are the only ones that would handle power adders ? I have the SY3500 & I wonder if it would handle a 100 shot. Yank website says it should

Any of the Yank converters will handle a measly 100 shot. I used to run a SY3500 with a 125 shot. No problem. The "Extreme" line of Yank converters are built to take INSANE amounts of power. I doubt you could hurt them with a 500 shot.

I am going to the dyno day this Sat. at MTI are you going? That would be a great place to meet.
I'm going to Yank to get a vacuum modulator installed in my Sportsman 4L60E trans. I'll have 100% line pressure at WOT from here on out.

Isn't programming the PCM to tie the line pressure with TPS a more effective way to insure full line pressure at WOT ?

No, unfortunately I'm going to be out of town. I'm going to Yank to get a vacuum modulator installed in my Sportsman 4L60E trans. I'll have 100% line pressure at WOT from here on out.

Tell me more about this.It sounds exactly like what I've been looking for.I've been doing a lot testing that seems to indicate our A4's DO NOT shift at full pressure at WOT.I thought the only way to get full pressure at WOT was a reprogram or some kind of WOT switch that gives full press at WOT only.
