Normal/performance shift programs- A4?????? In the Trans Am brochure it states under transmission specs "Transmission - 4-speed automatic (features Normal and Performance shift programs on V8 engine) - standard on Firebird convertible"
Am I missing something here or does this simply mean you can run up through the gears 1-2-3 manually without the transmission changing up on its own at a certain RPM if you wish to?

Re: Normal/performance shift programs- A4?????? This is in the 2002 Firebird brochure and also on the GM Canada http://gmcanada.com/english/vehicles...b_details.html site under the specs for the transmission for the Firebirds???
