I was wondering how well the GV OD worked under the car.... I mean with the torque arm, and in the tranny tunnel. I was looking at doing one after my current flp level 4 takes a dump(im not saying that it will....... but i'm putting a little bit more motor in front of it than I should)

What are the exact numbers on the gear ratios with the th400 and the GV OD(like the 6th gear ratio and stuff to)?

I know the th400 runs a 2.48 first, and I was thinking I can do the 2.75 ratio........ but does that mean the OD unit has to have a different first ratio too?

is that the thing that replaces the tail shaft of the tranny and spilts the gears and stuff like that?

if you use a 2.75 ratio in your 400 trans the gv will split the ratios better plus you'll have 11% more low gear.

ya wouldnt happen to know what the ratios in second and third are with the 2.75 first? I want to say that they are the same as normal but for some reason i can't see that working very well..... but with the GV od it would help the little jump between gears.

if the th400 has a 1:1 in 3rd gear........ the OD makes it a what? like a .86:1 or so?
