The ones available from http://www.purechoicemotorsports.com/ on their new products page? I am considering using one long enough to go across the entire front end, leaving room for a SSRA/FTRA or maybe a FMIC if I got that route later. I just dont want to waste money if they dont cool for ****.

That looks pretty cool with the integrated gauge and all. I used the set up described in the following thread because I wanted better airflow through it than "dope" style, and I didn't want to butt it up to a hot a/c condenser. I've been pretty happy with it; max temp has been 195* after several WOT runs on a 95* day. https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic-transmission/179082-alternative-tranny-cooler.html
Charlie, I had heard acouple of local hotrodders at cruise night complaining that the rail style coolers have not worked all that great for them. Who knows though, it could of been how they where mounting them or they just bought a shitty product. They are not overly expensive so it might be worth giving them a try.
This is what I ended up doing with mine, it's right behind the nostril now. I havn't seen temps over 150 all fall. I was thinking of adding on a fan for when the car sits in the lanes, might not need it though.

GM thats a nice idea. I have mine mounted in front of the radiator and **** now, but its a smaller cooler, worked well with the 3000 stall, and Hawaii heat, but with an A3 and 4000 stall I want to make sure I can keep it as cool as possible. Might be time to relocate a larger cooler.
FWIW, I have the "Dope" style cooler, and I never see above 180 degrees at all anymore. I can hot lap the car 10 times in a row and not see the gauge move a bit. I don't have a converter yet though...

Pre converter with stock type trans I never had a problem. Now, add a 4000 stall, and an A3 and I am concerned.
