My transmission isnt working right

My transmission isnt working right About an hour ago my auto transmission started to not work properly and I don't know why. It was working fine this morning and yesterday.
To park the car I have to put it in Neutral and put up the E-brake and push it back in Park. In park it's either reversing or driving, it's mostly reversing though. Reverse works fine. Neutral is sometimes driving and I have to mess with it so it's neutral. Drive works fine and so does gear 1-2-3.
The way I drive I always put it in neutral when I come to a stop and to glide the rest of the way to a stop light or turn. I sometimes put it back in drive when I'm gliding from neutral to speed up.
I've been doing this since I got the car and would the auto tranny now give on me all of a sudden.
And I'm not perfect but it could be vandalism. If it was vandalism I know who the suspects are and I'm going to narrow it down soon. I'm still confused of how they could of messed up my transmission, when they didnt dent or scratch the car up at all.
