Pro Thruster 4000?
If your looking at a street tire, I HIGHLY recommend the Nitto's. The perform MUCH better than regular radials and they good in most types of weather.
I have a YTP 4000 but the STR is lower, which for street racing would be better; however it will feel a tad looser than the unit Mike is suggesting.
3.73s reduce the looseness compared with 3.23s, but are a little tricker to launch on the street.
Thanks for the help guys. I'll probably order it within the next week. Ragtop 99 has a good point about the STR and 3.73's, I'll probably get the STR knocked down to a 2.5 or so if Yank will do it.

Mike can do it. By starting with a YTP 4400 and reducing the stall to 4000/4200, he can bring the STR down to about 2.3/2.4 and increase top end efficency too.

I would leave the STR alone.. it works good as is...

gets tricky to change the stall and not have it effect the STR. When you start from a given design, there is a high corrleation between stall speed changes and STR.
I fact I would suggest a TP-4400.. but I'm bias
Mike and I both run at the same track, so I left the stall to him, since he knows my ride (lots of bolt ons, 3:73's, stock heads/cam) and the erratic nature of our track (Centerville, AR). Mike also suggested something in the 4000-4200 range.
Should be fun.
