Question Problems.. need help

Ok, i've been havign problems with my 98 TA. Whenever i start to accelerate and it gets roughly in between 40-50 mph it starts to shutter and it feels like it has trouble shifting or something. Has this problem happened to anyone else and doe anyon eknow what could be causing this. Thanks

maybe it's because your a pansy and when you get about 40 mph you start to shake like a little girl. So you vibrate the pedal causing the car to stutter. But doesn't the vibration just make it feal better when your boyfriend is giving you roadhead??

it happened to my cousine's z28...there was little leaking for the transmission oil...he changed the bushings.

Sounds like converter shudder. To verify if this is the problem, when the shudder starts, and without letting off the gas, lightly tap the brake pedal. Not really enough to apply the brakes, but enough to turn your break lights on. If the shudder stops for a few moments, its converter shudder. The ultimate fix for this is to replace the converter. But there is a additive that you can buy at your local transmission parts supplier that will help for a while. Hope this helps!
