Default Which aftermarket pan is everyone using

I am about to do a fluid and filter change on my 02 Firehawk. I want to put on a deeper pan with fins on it. I was just wandering which trans pan everyone is using and the cost and if they come with bolts or not. Thanks everyone.

I used one from a truck, no finned but deeper and uses truck filter. Includes drain plug.

Now on my TH350, I'm not sure what name brand it is, but its finned, deep, w/ plug and looks pretty fricken stout.

My experience with Derale is they may cool better with the tubes, but those are some flimsy *** pans.

If you are lowered, the finned deep TCI pan will
be scraping the drain plug on speed bumps. Unless
your headers are worse, anyway. I use the truck
pan now.

On her race car we use a B&M cast unit, but the SS is too low (for Ca) to use a deeper aftermarket pan. I used to have a truck pan, replaced the trans and forgot to take it off, so now I only have the stock F-Body pan.

If your vehicle ISN'T lowered the B&M 3Qt. deep aluminum finned pan is the way to go, with a 24K transcooler & Y3000 converter, my highway trans temp is anywhere from 120-138, in town 150-164.

My car is not lowered and I am running the stock stall. I am a little concerned that a deeper pan will be too low. I am in college and the roads are not easy to get around without scraping the y pipe(jet hot). Does anyone make a stock depth pan with fins. I am getting a new pan as much for looks as for function. Also I definantly want one with a drain plug. thanks for the help

Another vote for the Derale Deep Cooling pan. Has the integral flow thru cooling tubes (don't know how much additional cooling help they add - but every little bit helps), & drain plug. These are steel instead of aluminum which I like better for protection reasons. I personally don't like aluminum pans hanging down into the path of road debris or speed bumps.

Depth is about 1" deeper than stock - you really don't lose much ground clearance.

I'm using the truck pan, which was a left over from my old Impala SS. Used the TCI pan once in the Impala SS, but grenaded it after bottoming out at an intersection.
