2.) How much do you drive the car/for what purpose?
Weekend cruiser, asphalt terrorizer
3.) How does it "feel" compared to stock?
A hair looser, and that's a very thin hair. You primarly know it's there if you have a loud exhaust, but that's another reason I like it.
4.) What tires do you have?
Nitto 555 285/40 R17 (Not the drag radials). Need drag radials though to get full advantage of any converter from a dig or very slow roll.
5.) What rpm range do you use in around town driving?
0 to 6000 RPM
6.) What else do you have to say about it?
Great converter, I bought it for the low STR and because it's supposed to be pretty tight. I would've got the SS3400 if it was avaibable at the time I bought the SS3200, but that's how life goes. It's a nice daily driver converter. You won't benefit much from a converter with a higher stall speed and STR if you don't have traction (tires and a little suspension work). If you like to race from a roll and don't mind having a loose converter, then you may want to consider a larger stall like the SS3800. The bad thing with the loose converter is that the car is really loud when it's coming on the line which can be a good or bad thing. Dave at Yank was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions that I had.
I had a few ideas in mind...
SS3200 with 3.08 gears
SS3200 with 3.23 gears
SS3600 with 2.73 (current) gears
SS3600 with 3.08 gears
I go a goot bit of driving over 60 in the car so I would like to keep the rpms down if possible. Which combo do you all think would be the "best"... if there is such a thing. BTW I have a BMR torque arm, LCA's and relocation brackets, upper and lowerpanhard, WS6 wheels so I can get the wider nittos.
So out of those choices which would you pick and why? Then if you have another suggestion I am all ears.

I like the converter, in combination with headers and cam good choice.

I've got a heads/cam/longtubes with high flow cats/LS6 intake and injectors/dynotune., etc., car. From a roll, how is the SS3200? I assume it would give you a performance increase due to shift extension, and starting out in a higher power band. What's your opinion? Thanks.

SteveOrdered my SS3200 from Motorsports Technology on a group. $715 to my door. That was just before the news broke about the new SS3400 converter. I still would have gotten the SS3200, though, as the car is a daily driver and loud. I wanted a tight one so I don't sound like an F-16 every time I move out from a stoplight. It'll be installed in the spring....can't wait.
