Best converter for my setup?
my car is most definitely a DAILY DRIVER, so I would like a converter that is not too severe for my daily commute downtown and back.
My mods are in sig (LS6 Intake and underdrive pulley yet to be installed). I intend to get a cam eventually, but I probably will stick with the stock heads.
...I was considering the SLP 3300 coverter (built by Yank), but am open to any and all suggestions.

You have a 3.73, right?
I have a 2.73 & an ST3500.
How fast do you wanna go, seriously?
You got the gearing for a serious converter. Talk to some of the resident gurus, you can do better, converter wise. IMO only, if I had 3.73 I would go for no less than 3000 stall and 1.86 STR.
Has anyone out there installed the SLP (Yank) converter yet? Any / all opinions welcomed!

My vote is for the Vig2800. Driving around the city it is almost like stock and on the highway it run greats with no lockup problems at all. The only thing I did not like was the soft mushy shifts after the converter install. I fixed that with a TransGo shift kit… no more shift problems now. At the track the vig2800 performs very well for being a "small" converter. Most of my 60' times are in mid to upper 1.6s range. I would definitely recommend this converter to anybody who wants an almost stock feeling converter and much improved performance.
Great information! I could not agree more! Our ET/MPH are almost identical. Of course you have headers, I did not. But I had a cam, you did not.
Now, with the Yank 4200 and Macs, I hope to knock a few tenths off....

I'll do some searches on the ST3500, SLP/yank 3300, and the vig 2800..
