Default manual valve body

if you have a tranny with a manual valve body and decide to take it for a cruise around town how do you drive it?

It depends on if its a automatic/manual valve body or a full manual.

The A/M version the D position works like normal and will dip all the way down to 1st like normal.


The full manual will need to be hand shifted.

I would get a gate shifter for either...

I like the art carr gate shifter some like the hurst dual pattern...

Another option is a rachet shifter... Its good for 1/4 mile... Going from 4 to 1 is'nt as easy as a gate and knowing what gear you are in at a glance is'nt as easy..
