trans pacifier? Pro-Built Kit

i know that the kit from Pro-Built comes with the pacifier, but what does this piece do? I broke my trans and the guy said that it was the pacifier that broke and he had to get a new one from transgo and it will be tuesday before he is able to get one shipped. can pro-built send me this piece? if so how much am i looking? Reason im askign on here is b/c i know someone on here has to have had this happen and might remember a price on the part.

I'm sure you can get it seperately, what it does is it fools the PCM into thinking the EPC solenoid is still hooked up. If your trans guy has an old EPC solenoid sitting around, you can just hook that up and tie it out of the way. Otherwise you will probably just have to wait for the one from Transgo or see if Dana has an extra one. They usually come into the vacuum modulator "kit."
