Default Horsepower lost in A4?

How much horsepower is eaten up between the flywheel and rear wheels on 3.23 A4?What percentage?

there was a long thread a while back on hp loss as being either a percentage or a fixed number. One argument was that the tranny isnt using more horsepower if you have more horsepower. I know for my A3 its around 37 hp loss. And i know the a4 is quite a bit less.

I dont want to start a big controversy but I'd say its going to be a fixed number not a percentage.

This is what i have read many times in mag's dealing with mustangs. A few dyno shops even said it's a fixed number not a % because it just doesn't make sense the more power you have the more power is taken away cause it's the same drivetrain. They explained exactly why but i'm not going to look for the mag nor do i remember.

Anyways i'm interested in this also could never really find an answer to exactly how much was eaten up on the A4 LS1's
