Arrow *HELP* shift solenoid locations

I was told that they are located on the outside of the valve body torwards the rear and you can see them when you take the pan off. Is this correct?

When I pulled the pan and filter I see 2 solenoids. They look identical. How can you tell which one is the 1-2 shift solenoid????
