say the VSS was not in the tranny and you just had it hooked to the harness will it throw any codes?

reason i ask is i have a TH400 and don't really care about a speedo but the VSS signal is needed for things like a stable idle and other things.

just wondering if i got a working VSS and plugged it into the A4 harness would it think it was all good?

can't find my vol 3 of the helms manuals that has the tranny stuff to read about the VSS any help?

Camaros have a VSS wire in the radio harness. Green/white wire.
