Default Annoying problem

If i acclerate harder (like going onto a highway) my transmission seems to pop out of gear, to fix this i have to put the car into N then back into D then its fine. This only happens when the car is cold, when warmed up the trans shifts fine. What could be causing this problem?

Any help would be great Thanks.

Sticky valve body? I'd be curious to see what the trans pan looked like.

My SES light comes on when the car is warm and when Im in stop n go traffic, Other than that it dosent come on so no codes. Im curious with the valve body, what is that exactally? When I first bought the car I had all the fluids replaced, so I dont think old fluid is the problem.

Im pretty uneducated with auto-transmissions, but thanks for the reply.

any other clues?

Have it scanned for codes. The valve body is a part of the trans that controls fluid direction and the feeds to clutch packs. First have it scanned!!!
