Default Converter Benefits

What exactly makes the TC so important? (aftermarket one). I know it helps alot from a dig, but what about from a roll? Its hard for me to put this question into words, i'd just like to hear opinions on BENIFITS from doing a TC, i'm not worried about the negative effects so i dont have to know those. Thanks

The main ones are:

Higher stall speed (flash)
Choose your own STR (stall torque ratio) - Torque multiplication
Shift Extension - RPM's stay high and out of the dead spots that your trans normally drops down to after upshifts, keeping it in the powerband, sort of like a close-geared manual
