Positive TH400/Gearvendors results At 65 mph with my 4400 stall my rpm's stay under 3000. Its around 2800 - 2900 on the highway. And that is with my 3.73 gears. With the 3.55 gears in the 12 bolt that I have on the way the final drive ratio will be 0.78 that will be like having 2.27 gears in the rear (according to GV) The WOT shifts are crisp, firm and fast. I did not mean to be so negative in my first post. I was just down because my car was out of commission for 7 months to due this swap and it only went a tenth faster and on top of that I broke the 10 bolt two days after getting the car back. I really think that when I get some power... (H/C and N20) that this will be a fast, fun, streetable and bullet proof setup.
Re: Positive TH400/Gearvendors results I am very interested in this setup. I agree, it is a bulletproof setup. I have a friend who has one in his truck, 95,000 miles, and has had no problems. Can GV cut you a different gear that would allow you to change the ratio, instead of having to change the rear gears?

The TH400 has 3 gears. The GV unit gives me OD for each gear. If your asking can the GV unit make a car with 3.23 gear run like one with 4.10 gear the anserw would be no. I hope that helps!

Re: Positive TH400/Gearvendors results I did another test on my damaged 10 bolt. The rpm's at 55 mph are 2400 - 2500. I'm gonna try to get this thing dynoed after the 12 bolt gose in.
