Crazy acting PI3200 How about this one.
after the TC install (MTI), the rpms surge after 2-3 then settle right back down. it feels like a lock up issue for a second. no shiftkit. would that help?

Re: Crazy acting PI3200 Odd, mine does the same thing in 2nd gear only. Ill be driving at near 1/2 throttle and when it hits about 3k rpms in 2nd it kinda locks then unlocks real quick. Doesnt do it always, and usually right after I started it up. Doesnt do it anytime other than then..Ive had it like that for 4-6 months now and its fine. Im going to get a power fluch on trans and clean the pan, and install new filter one of these days, see if its a fluid/filter issue. Anyone else have this experience or know a possible fix? TTT

Re: Crazy acting PI3200 depending on how i drive mine shifts sloppy on all shifts.. mroe than likely its the same thing yours is doing.. no shift kit here either... but at WOT its fine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Crazy acting PI3200 I have heard that the Vigs can cause sloppy shifts so I had the shift kit installed just to be safe. So far all is well after 2 years with the converter and kit. Now if I could only get rid of that damm surging from the cam. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

A transgo is pretty much a standard addition...
Its worth the extra cost and...since the tranny will be down..do it at the same time..
I have a Vig3200 and transgo..3washer..
1-2 shifts will hit hard just pulling away normally.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Crazy acting PI3200 Hey Dood, do you have a poly trans mount.. i do and second gear just driving around gets too be a little too much with the 3 washers especialy taking turn under a little bit of power.. the rear end just kick out like crazy.. I~m gonna take one washer out I think.
