I recently installed a Vig3200 in a bolt-on car and I would like to compare my ¼ or 1/8 mile runs with the converter to others with the same converter and preferably with 3.23 gears.
So if any of you all have this combination and would not mind emailing me a copy of them or just post a link to the files I would really appreciate it. Any file format is fine. I am looking to see how high the converter flashes.

atap really isnt gonna be fast enough to keep up with the stall flash.. it may be off 200-300 rpms

but with my 3600 if i floor it, on atap it jumps to 4200... 3.23's also <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Did you figure out your elapsed time for 0-60? Just kinda curious how I compare with your converter? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Also. From what I understand, autotap is most accurate when you only log a few things. Maybe try logging a few options to see if there is any truth to this. I could be wrong but I remember hearing that somewhere. Anyone?

Using the calculator at the below link my 60’ mph is 49.65. But that seems kind of high. It seems strange that in the 1st 60’ you can get to 50mph but you need another 1260’ to get to 112mph.

Just curious are your shift points stock or modified with programming? If modified what are the setting?

 

Thanks! My new FLP tranny is going in today. If I can put a couple hundred miles on it by Saturday, I will borrow a buddies ATAP and make a couple 1/4 mile passes.

 

1-2 shift is +2 using a HPP
2-3 and 3-4 are stock

JNorris - I have my shift points set the same with 3.23 gears as well - and the best I can tell, my converter is flashing in the upper 3K's.

 

Lane – Thanks for the info. WOW! The upper 3Ks. I see nothing like that. The most I have seen is almost 3100. I had the converter pulled out and have sent it back to PI to see what the problem is. Do you have any AutoTap files of the converter flashing?
