Broken a Flexplate?

Broken a Flexplate? Just wondering if anyone's ever broken a flexplate. Any causes that you know of?
Also, what mods did you have done?
Just curious because a friend of mine found a crack in his after a recent converter install.

Re: Broken a Flexplate? I have cracked them in other cars. They eventually sound kinda like a rod bearing knock. generally i think revving in neutral and then slamming into drive cracks them. Dunno what else does
