Just wondering if anyone's ever broken a flexplate. Any causes that you know of?
Also, what mods did you have done?

Just curious because a friend of mine found a crack in his after a recent converter install.

I've seen cracked A4 FLEXPLATES Flywheels are M6 things <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Moving to Drivetrain <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Also, who makes a beefier flexplate for LS1s ?

 

I have cracked them in other cars. They eventually sound kinda like a rod bearing knock. generally i think revving in neutral and then slamming into drive cracks them. Dunno what else does
