No, short of buying the manual valve body I hear is now available for the 4L60e there's nothing you can do. What I don't understand is why people bother to manually shift an automatic from a run from a stop (such as the track). The transmission shifts as perfectly as possible, you can not shift better than a computer and you gain NOTHING from it. The only difference is with you shifting you run the risk of bumping the rev limiter and wasting the whole pass.

Now if you're racing someone from a roll thats a different story. But the general rule of thumb is, if you wanted to shift, you should have bought a 6-spd.

unless you've moved your power band further up the range, you have no reason to change your shift points. Just put it in D and let it rip. Shifting on your own is a quick way to a slow run.

well i have added slp's lt's, 80mm tb, gmaf, 160 therm, 3.73's, and whisper lid w/k&n. guess i should have brought that up before. i have yet to dyno the car with the mods so i'm not sure how much i might have changed the power band from the stock band...? with these mods, should i adjust them higher/lower maybe?
