A4 gear calculator Hi everyone;
Does anyone know of a website that can tell me the MPH, and RPM the A4 transmission would be doing, based on different rear end ratios.
I have the ratios of the A4 transmission.
Example: What RPM's would the engine turn at 80MPH with 4.10 rearend gears?, same question with 3.73.
Quite a while back, someone posted a sight that gave this information, however using the "search" feature, I can not find it.

Re: A4 gear calculator Thanks so much John, that was exactley what I was looking for. Shortly I will be changing my rearend gears in my Z28 with A4 transmission, and I wanted to weigh out all my options between 3.73, and 4.10.
This gives me all the ammo I need to make the proper decision.

Re: A4 gear calculator Keep in mind that with an automatic, there will always be some converter slippage, except when the torque converter is locked-up... All converters will differ on their efficiency, but a good ballpark would be around 5-6% slippage...
