Tranny Took A Dump, What Happend?
I had my shift kit and stall put in while I was in North Carolina and as soon as I got to my exit it took a dump. When I put it in gear its like im in neutral reving the motor. Any idea whats wrong?
Either the pump rotor got cracked during instal, or there was to much clearance between the converter and flywheel causing damage to the pump rotor. At any rate, sounds like pump damage.
Where in N.C. did you have it done, if you don't mind me asking?

If you had a Corvette servo installed check and see if it's still in there and that it hasn't popped out or broke the housing around it. It's on the passenger and is a round item about 3" in diameter and is just above the fluid pan towards the front of the transmission.
