Default 2-3 shift hits rev limiter/ why?

I just got back from the track, with a st3800 and new pcm programming. Now i hit the limmiter on the 2-3 shift and i have to let off the gas to let it shift. My last race i was one car ahead of the other guy and pulling away till the limmiter came on,i went 12.04, he went 11.70.
I have i Transgo shift kit, and the tuner raised the line pressure, is that bad? Is setting the shift points by rpm possible?

The problem lies in the last program, you need to lower the shift MPH. I "think" that 99-00 pcms can be shifted by rpm, but I think its more consistant by MPH. Just my thoughts...

Don't forget, when you are setting the shift speed, you must take into account the amount of TC slippage. Just get the shift lowered and go from there.

If you have a ported meter you will need to go back to stock. That cured my problem 100%. I nver had to adjsut my shift points after that. All i adjusted was my rev limter to 6400.
