Im going for the swap, couple of ????'s Ok, well Im going to sell my Rossler 4l60e & go with the 4L80e conversion. Ive read cablebandits thread so I know what I gota do. I have a couple of questions though,
1. Will my TCI3500 from my 4L60e work with the 4L80e? Ive got the stock LS1 flywheel on the 408ci not the 6L one.
2. When you have to send the PCM to have it fixed, what exactly are they changing?
3. Just out of curiousity, what would a stock 4L80e hold power wise? Without having to worry about it.

4L60e has a 31 spline input and a 4L80e has a 35 spline input shaft so a new converter is a definate. I just had ken at ls1edit modify my tune to just change the tranny portion to a 4l80e. This means everything else stays the same. I just flashed that in and started editing from there. In stock form they are rated at 800lbft torque at the flywheel. I would add a tci flexplate and arp bolts if it is in the budget.
