Default question about converter and stall....somewhat technical

OK just was curious, my friends t/a runs great if she gets it up just over 1000 rpm (lid, vig 3200, 3.73 gears, cat back and shift kit) but if she tries to stall it up to 2000 the car doesnt really do much more. now in my mind, i would think taht would help the car out, just wanted to know if anyone could give me info as to why it wouldnt really do anything for the car?

The car will actually leave harder if you dont stall it up at all. If you leave from idle and full flash the converter it will leave alot faster than stalling it up and flashing the converter. Some people have different opinions about this, but in my experience my car leaves alot harder from idle or just above idle.

Barely hold the break and wheh the tree lights the last yellow, put the gas to the floor as fast as you can lifting off the break at the same time. Basically just stabbing the gas. This seems to work ok for my 3600 but today i was brake stalling it as high as it would go before pushing the front tires and i pulled my best 60ft. Both work in my opinion just find which one works best for your converter
