Exclamation Trans stuck in 3rd????

So I took the car out for a ride today.
I threw a code P0121..Throttle Postioning Sensor. I replaced it a couple weeks ago but I have only driven the car maybe 3-4 times.

First off, I have a 3500 Fuddle and the trans is vacuum modulated.
Anyway..I was pulling up to a stop and the car died. I restarted the car and the trans feels like it's stuck in third. I say that because it feels like I when I pull away from a stop the car revs(like a normal car with a loose converter) but has no power. It never shifts..and then when I cruise at 60mph I am at 2500 rpm's...The car is shaking real bad too at a stop sign...worse than normal with my cam(236 @ 050 .585 lift).

Any ideas???

man that sucks, hope you get it worked out. It may just be in the trans, did you try manually shifting it to see if it would come out of gear? sometimes my car will not downshift even under wot. it is weird, it will just sit in third gear and try to pull. Looks like we both may be looking for an answer. m however if this is the case I think it is a computer issue rather than a trans issue considering I just put a new trans in my car, but it still acts up occassionally.

Read up on what that code means. I think your cam wants
some tune changes to settle that code down, it hassles
other things since the TPS is deemed unreliable (wrongly).

check to see that you have the p0757 code shut off. I had the same problem you described (being stuck in 3rd) right after i put my 3,800 fuddle in. Thought i toasted the trans.. If the computer see's the converter is slipping too much (still thinks the stock one is in there) it will set the p0757 code and lock you out of certain gears, for me it was everything except 3rd. Do a search under my screen name and look for p0757

So, I took the car for a ride this morning. It still has the SES light but the car is driving normal again. Most likely it is a tuning issue then?
