Interested in why you went so low in STR. I told them
to put mine as low as needed to maximize efficiency,
but no lower; they came back with a 1.9-2.0 target
for me.

Are you able to do any sort of logging? I'd be interested
to put up the various STR, 3500-3600RPM Fuddles that
are out there now against each other and look at slip /
efficiency results.

I wanted to try and mimic the SY3500 from yank. I wanted effeciency and an easier launch on nittos.

I dont have any way of logging. Im gonna have to drive 3+ hours to get a dyno tune from a respected LS1tech sponser. I want to get tuned after i finish my exhaust.

I wouldnt be so concerned about efficiencies. 200rpm slip between converters wont amount to much - if at all with the right setup. Its picking the right combo for the car. My current 3600 slips more than the 3200 ever did, but performs equally as good with the bigger cam.

What you want is consistency and a good trade-off between efficiency and stall RPM/STR. Lean too far on either side and you compromise the driving experience.

When i mention efficiency im talking about the HP put to the ground. I see a lot of guys getting converters and losing or keeping the same trap speed. I wanted a converter that can drop my time and increase my trap speed.

I droped my time by almost 1 second and gained 3mph. Its just what i wanted. I only got 1 good launch at the track before everybody drug out water and sand (dont ask) so there could be room for improvement before exhaust.

btw - going from 2.0 + 60fts to a 1.75 is almost euphoric.
