I'm told that the front pump is different than the later year LT1's with 4L60E's. I believe the first couple years the LT1's had a differ tranny all together. (700R4)

It will not work. I'm not sure if its shaft diameter or number of splines but LT1 converters are not compatible with LS1 trannies. Call Mike Senia at Yank and I'm sure he can give you all the specifics.

93-97 LT1 will not fit into a 98-02 LS1 F-Body.

It WILL fit into 98-02 C5.

Input shaft is different.
