St3500 or Sy3500
On a 98 Z-28 that is daily driven, which would be the best convertor for bracket racing at the track? The mods on the car are Air Lid and exhaust. The gear ratio that I have in mind is 3.42 or 3.73. I intend to use slicks so traction will not be a problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
SY3500 would be best for bracket racing. The lower STR makes it easier to be assured that you'll dead hook every run in a consistent manner.
The ST 3500 will beat it in a Quick 8 competition.

DOH! didn't read the slicks part.
however, at some tracks I've spun my ET Streets do to crappy track prep...
