how are you doing the swap with the drive shaft since the yoke is bolted to the out put shaft

Remove the bolt on yoke and get a slip yoke for a TH400. A real TH400 slip yoke does not have splines all the way to the open end that goes into the trans, the splines start about 1 1/4" in. There are other yokes that have splines all the way to the end but if you use one of these it will bottom out too soon, won't have enough in and out travel.

The right yoke should go in all the way up to the seal.

Hmmm bring this back to the top. I noticed there isnt much room for error as the shaft is very short
